The entrance hall and some areas can be viewed for free, so we will take about 10–15 minutes to look around inside. It’s a nice chance to experience a bit of Tokyo’s art scene while enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the museum!

The Ameyoko Center Building is one of the most lively and iconic spots in Ueno! Inside, you’ll find a maze of small shops selling unique items you won’t see in typical souvenir stores. The energy is fun and a bit chaotic in the best way, giving you a real taste of local Ueno culture. It’s the perfect place to browse unusual goods and enjoy the lively spirit of Ameyoko!
