At Whitehall, we learn about how the British saw Americans and other non-Brits as we stop at Banqueting House and then the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, which was originally the Colonial Office established to to deal with the American colonies.

At St James' Square, we go to the former Norfolk House and first hear about General Dwight D Eisenhauer and Americans who came over during WWII.

At Spencer House, we meet the American Dollar Princesses who came over to gain respectability and titles in exchange for helping to prop up the cash poor aristocracy. Find out just how much and how extensive this phenomena was in the late 19th to early 20th century.

At the current Lansdowne Club on corner of Berkeley Square lived three men crucial to the establishment of America, inventing modern department stores, and supporting philanthropy.

At our final stop, we look at the department store that changed the way shopping was done in Britain. Many people do not realise the store was established by an American retail giant Harry Gordon Selfridge. They simply thought it was British like so many other things.
