Finish the journey around Elie and Earlsferry, with its sandy shoreline, harbour and attractive village streets. Optional Elie Chain Walk For more adventurous guests, the Elie Chain Walk offers an exhilarating scramble around the volcanic rocks of Kincraig Point. Eight chains help participants negotiate narrow, steep and exposed sections above the rocky shoreline. Allow approximately two hours. This is a challenging activity requiring sturdy footwear with good grip, good balance and a reasonable level of fitness. It should only be attempted when tides and weather conditions are suitable; the chains are submerged at high tide.
