Upon arrival in Linhai, head to the Great Wall Scenic Area to begin your exploration. The Linhai Great Wall, also known as the “Southern Great Wall” or Jiangnan Great Wall, was initially constructed during the Jin Dynasty (317-420 AD). The designer of the Linhai Great Wall is the same person who designed the famous Badaling Great Wall in Beijing. Originally, the wall stretched 6,000 meters (19,685 feet), and today, 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) of walkable paths remain. In 2-3 hours, you can comfortably walk the entire length of the wall, immersing yourself in the historical surroundings as your friendly guide shares fascinating stories about local history and culture.

we will explore Ziyang Old Street within the ancient city. Ziyang Old Street is a historical district of the city, featuring numerous shops and restored buildings that showcase the original architectural style of the ancient city. This area was also the venue for a Chinese New Year Gala several years ago. The street is quite long, offering a variety of local specialty gifts and foods, allowing you to spend 1-2 hours browsing the diverse shops.
