This tour was uniquely developed by an owner who moved to Savannah in the fall of 2000 to study architecture, finished school, and never left. Having written his master's thesis on this beautiful city, he loves sharing his insider expertise with you.
Throughout the journey, you will explore fascinating examples and discussions of different architectural styles and the architects who built Savannah's grand-scale buildings from the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s. Alongside the architecture, you will dive into what was happening in American culture at the time, uncovering historic burials, an all-but-forgotten cemetery, statues, and monuments that paint a vivid picture of historic Savannah.

منطقة سافانا التاريخية
When you embark on this journey, you will immediately find yourself surrounded by some of the most stunning examples of different styles of historic architecture in the United States. The tour will begin overlooking the Savannah River. Then heading south we will stroll along the old King's Road, now known as Bull Street, discussing architecture and history along the way that was recorded in the fabric of our Civic, Religious, Government and Residential architecture. Displaying over 100 years of linear time in American design, this stroll through history will survey buildings from the middle 1800's to the middle 1900's, discussing changes in architectural styles coinciding with many things including the development of new building materials and concepts, banking practices. and more. Come wander through time with us.
