Start your day with a walk to pyrgos the highest village on the island. Wander the winding cobblestone streets, admire the Cycladic architecture and climb to the medieval Kastelli for a panoramic view of the whole of Santorini.
Continue to the Venetsanos Winery. It is the first industrial winery on the island (built in 1947) with a unique architecture carved into the rock, operating under gravity. You will take a tour of the cave facilities and enjoy a wine tasting on its famous terrace, which offers one of the most stunning and unobstructed views of the Caldera and the rocks.

Pyrgos Kallistis is a beautiful medieval village built at an elevation, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Fira. It was built by the Venetians around 1580 AD and is one of the island's five fortified settlements (*kastelia*).
Architecture: Narrow, labyrinthine alleys, whitewashed houses, vaulted passageways, and old churches make up the landscape.
