The sanctuary of the Miraculous Madonna, formerly the Basilica of Saints Giacomo and Filippo, is in the historic center of Taggia, in the Argentine valley, in the province of Imperia. The church is the seat of the parish of Saints James and Philip of the Vicariate of Levant and Valle Argentina of the Diocese of Ventimiglia-San Remo. In December 1942 Pope Pius XII elevated the church to the dignity of a minor basilica.
The religious cult towards the Madonna del Sacro Cuore grew after March 11, 1855 when, after an octave of prayers, the population of Taggia gathered inside the collegiate church noticed the movement of the eyes of the statue, the work of the local sculptor Salvatore Revelli. According to religious tradition, the miraculous event was repeated other times, even in recent times, so much so that the then bishop of Ventimiglia instructed a regular canonical process to truly accept the facts.

Badalucco is a charming Ligurian village located in the Argentina Valley, famous as a "painted country" for its murals that decorate the facades of houses in the historic center. The medieval village winds through paved alleys, stone arches and pastel-colored houses that tell centuries of history and traditions. Walking through the heart of Badalucco you can admire the impressive Romanesque Bridge, built by the ancient Romans and restored until 1606, which connects the two banks of the Argentina stream offering a spectacular view of the village.
DA not miss the Parish Church of San Nicolò, built on the ruins of an ancient castle, which offers a unique view of the village. The path through the alleys reveals the works of local and international artists: murals that tell stories of resistance, myths and folklore, transforming the village into an open-air museum.
This village offers a rich and varied experience, perfect for those who love to discover unique corners of Liguria on foot.

Molini di Triora is a charming village in Valle Argentina immersed in a Ligurian alpine landscape that combines nature, history and traditions. Located at the foot of the hill on which Triora stands, Molini owes its name to the ancient water mills that were once the beating heart of the local economy. Walking through the old town, you will discover narrow alleys, fountains, drinking troughs and bridges that tell the daily life of its inhabitants in the Middle Ages, with urbanism intimately linked to water and its resources.
The village preserves suggestive architectural testimonies such as the ancient towers and monuments, and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Walking through the streets, you can feel an authentic and timeless atmosphere, enriched DA events and local traditions that are reflected in typical products, such as olive oil and gastronomic specialties of the area.

Museo di Triora Etnografico e della Stregoneria
Triora, known as the "country of witches", is a medieval village set in the Argentine Valley, famous for its dark past linked to the witch trials of 1587 - 1589, among the bloodiest in Italy. Legends tell of women falsely accused of magic and pagan rites, many of whom suffered torture and detention, events that today are told with historical respect and popular culture.
In the historic center of Triora, among alleys and stone arches, there are museums that preserve and tell this fascinating past. The Ethnographic and Witchcraft Museum exhibits original documents from the witch trials, ancient objects and accounts of dramatic events. We recommend visiting Piazza Cavour, the beating heart of the village, DA which narrow cobbled alleys branch off perfect for capturing glimpses of ancient architecture with stone walls and Gothic details. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta offers breathtaking views perfect for striking photographs.

Garezzo Hill
The Galleria del Garezzo is a short tunnel of about 40 meters located at Colle del Garezzo (1,771 m above sea level) in the province of Imperia, connecting the Arroscia and Argentina valleys. It is a panoramic point and an important link of the Salt Road, offering spectacular views of the Ligurian Sea and the Ligurian Alps. DA here, leaving the middle, you can make a short hike to reach Monte Frontè (2,152 m a.s.l.) On its summit there is, on a small base, a statue of Our Lady erected in 1955, DA here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Saccarello (the highest peak of the Ligurian Alps), the Monega, and the chain of the Piedmontese Part with the Marguareis and the Mongioje; equally stunning DA is the view of the Monesi basin on one side and the Monesi basin on the other. There will also be forts and barracks, mute witnesses of the defenses placed (DA late 1800) on the border.
