Volubilis is the vestige of a Roman city built on the former site of a Punic-Berber city, which was the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, located in the Saïss plain, in the north of Morocco, on the edge of the wadi Rhoumane, a river in the suburbs of Meknes. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

After visititing Volubilis we will drive 2 hours and 30 minutes to Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a city in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. In the shady main square of Place Outa el Hammam is the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon, and Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum.
