Start your day tour in Aswan with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or cruise ship.

Your first stop is the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel completed in the 1960s. From the top of the dam, you can enjoy stunning views across Lake Nasser, with sights including the Kalabsha Temple to the south and the vast power station to the north.

Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s granite quarries, where much of the red granite for ancient temples and statues was sourced. This massive obelisk, still embedded in the rock, was abandoned when a crack was discovered. The final stop is the renowned Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was meticulously relocated to its current site (approximately 500 meters from its original location) to protect it from the rising waters caused by the High Dam's construction.
