Discover the beauty of Japanese caligraphy in a relaxed and personal experience in Kyoto. You don't need any previous experience. Your instructor wil guide you step by step, from holding the brush and making basic strokes to creating your own finished artwork. But this is more than simply learning how to write Japanese. We wil talk about you, your name, your interests, and the things that are important to you. Together, we wil choose a Japanese kanji character that represents your story. You wil practice it with traditional brush and ink and create your final artwork on a beautiful shikishi board. Take your original artwork home as a special memory of Kyoto.
