Pickup from Hotel or Train Station (Aguas Calientes) Our tour begins with pickup from your hotel or directly from the Machu Picchu Train Station in Aguas Calientes. You’ll meet your guide, who will accompany you throughout the experience.

Short Walk to the Bus Station From your pickup point, enjoy a short and pleasant walk through Aguas Calientes to the bus station. This walk takes approximately 10–15 minutes, allowing you to take in the lively atmosphere of the town before heading up to the Inca citadel.

Bus Ride to Machu Picchu Entrance Board the official shuttle bus for a scenic 25–30 minute ride up the mountain to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Along the way, admire the stunning views of the surrounding Andes and the Urubamba River valley.

Entry and Guided Tour of Machu Picchu Upon arrival, pass through the control gates according to the circuit indicated on your ticket (Circuit 1, 2, or 3). Once inside the citadel, your professional guide will lead you through the most iconic and beautiful areas, explaining the fascinating history, architecture, and mysteries of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have the opportunity to take incredible photos from the best viewpoints and learn about the culture, spirituality, and daily life of the ancient Inca civilization. The guided portion lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

Return to Aguas Calientes After exploring Machu Picchu, board the shuttle bus back down to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you can continue exploring the town, have lunch, or prepare for your train back to Cusco.
