Embark on a 10-kilometer hike through Sri Lanka’s misty cloud forests and rolling grasslands, following the historic hunting trail of Samuel Baker. The journey begins near Belihuloya, with easy access by tuk-tuk.
Trek through dramatic mountain scenery, tea plantations, and rural villages, soaking in the landscapes once explored by Baker while enjoying sweeping views of valleys and peaks. Visit a tea worker’s home to gain insight into Sri Lanka’s tea culture, and pause at Baker’s Bend—the poignant site of his tragic fall.
