In this experience, travelers will discover the authentic side of Villa Nova de Gaia and the tradition of the Port wine.
The activity begins at Caves Cálem, where the Guide welcomes the group and makes a brief introduction to the history of the Porto wine and its connection to Gaia, the river Douro and the city of Porto. Next, participants will visit a Porto wine cellar and a boutique wine house, where they will learn about the process of production, aging and storage in wooden pipes, ending with a taste of selected premium wines.
