This tour is perfect for travelers staying in Zanzibar who want to experience a real Tanzanian safari without needing multiple days. With roundtrip flights, guided game drives, and wildlife viewing all in one day, it’s one of the easiest and most exciting safari add-ons to a beach holiday.
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, please make your way to Jahazi Café, located just outside the arrivals terminal. Our representative will be waiting there holding a sign with your name or the company name (Crowned Wild Africa) for easy identification.
Your adventure begins with a 6:30 AM scheduled morning flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, meet your professional safari guide and head straight into the park for a full-day game drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle.
Mikumi National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope, hippos, and many bird species. The park’s open plains offer excellent wildlife viewing and beautiful scenery, often compared to the Serengeti.
Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic area or lodge before continuing your safari experience in the afternoon. After the game drive, transfer back to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar.
