You will arrive in Madaba, the city of Mosaics. Explore the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, home to the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, and stroll through the town to view other mosaics and handicrafts

Visit the sacred mountain where Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land. Enjoy sweeping views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Jerusalem (on clear days). Explore the church ruins and ancient mosaics.

After having a short lunch break (optional) at one of the cozy cafe's, you will continue to a historic highlight, the baptism site of Jesus Christ. Walk through the archaeological site, see the remains of early churches and baptismal pools, and visit the Jordan River where Jesus is believed to have been baptized.
