Please note that this will be only a brief stop — we will not visit the castle’s interior, and entrance tickets are not included.

Your experience includes the Essential Ticket, with access to the palace interior and surrounding park. Your guide will accompany the group throughout the visit, sharing historical context and local insights while you explore this extraordinary site.

Next, we’ll explore Sintra’s historic centre on foot, walking through its charming and emblematic streets. This short visit is designed to reveal the atmosphere of the old village before reaching one of its most iconic and unmissable stops. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional shops, local artisan crafts, and some of the most picturesque corners of Sintra’s romantic village.

In the heart of Sintra stands the National Palace of Sintra, instantly recognizable by its two conical chimneys that crown the former royal kitchen. This historic landmark spans the entire Portuguese monarchical era, offering an imposing silhouette on the town’s skyline. Please note that we will only make an exterior stop at the palace — we will not visit the interior, and entrance tickets are not included.

No visit to Sintra is complete without a stop at Piriquita, one of the village’s most iconic pastry shops. During this dedicated 15-minute stop, you’ll have the opportunity to taste Sintra’s traditional sweets, including the famous travesseiro and queijada. Please note that food and drinks are not included and are paid separately by each guest.
