Michalatos Honey is a a family-run bee farm. Here, in one hour, we explore what types of products the Kefalonian bees produce and taste the purest honey in the world, collected directly from their own apiary.

Liocharis Olive Mill is a local olive oil producer known for its high-quality and cold-pressed olive oil. In one hour, one of the owners presents the process from olive to olive oil. After this interactive presentation, we continue the visit by tasting the olive oil from a virgin perspective.

Saint George’s Castle was built in the Byzantine Era and once the capital of Kefalonia. According to many locals, the panoramic view from this castle on the inland region of Livathos surpasses the view from Myrtos beach. Nearby the castle, we see a beautiful and well-loved church that was built in 1580.

Your last (but not least) stop brings us to Gentilini Winery and Vineyards, one of Kefalonia’s most renowned family-owned wine estates. Here, we enjoy a guided tour of the wine production and vineyards, followed by a tasting of local wines. What better way to end this cultural day than with wine? Children could enjoy grape juice instead.
