Langkawi Rainforest Afterdark Experience the awakening of Langkawi’s nocturnal world. As evening falls, we journey to the majestic Gunung Raya, the island's highest peak. Our expert naturalist guide will lead you on a scenic drive overlooking the rainforest canopy during the magic hour.

High-Altitude Wildlife: Spot incredible resident species along the mountain slopes, including the Mountain Hawk-Eagle, Dusky Leaf Monkeys, Long-tailed Macaques, and the impressive Black Giant Squirrel.
Nocturnal Discovery: Watch the forest transition into night as we search for elusive creatures and nocturnal birds that only emerge after sunset.

Experience the magic of Langkawi’s rainforest as day turns to night. We will explore the mountain area in search of a myriad of amazing and unique nocturnal creatures that call this place home. Watch over your head as we try to spot bats, flying squirrels, and if we are really lucky, you might even catch the rare Flying Lemur known locally as the Colugo!
Available: Daily (Min 2 persons)
Meeting Time: 5:20 PM (Please arrive on time)
Duration: 2 hours approximately (Wildlife spotting & walking)
Recommended Attire: T-shirt, shorts/long pants, comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes, and mosquito repellent.
Fitness Level: Easy
Inclusive of: English-Speaking Nature Guide and Bottled drinking water. (Note: Transportation/Hotel transfer is NOT included).
Activity Schedule:
5:20 PM: Meet directly at the designated meeting point (Gunung Raya).
5:30 PM: Briefing by Nature Guide and start the tour.
7:30 PM: Finish the tour.
