miso tasting & Japanese authentic meal ( miso-soup & rice / baked rice ball ) . Participants will explore a wide variety of miso at a long-established miso shop, tasting and comparing different types while discussing how miso is chosen and used in everyday Japanese home cooking.

Before catching the bus, we’ll make a short stop at one of my favorite local shops for about 15 minutes.

We’ll usually take a local bus, but we might walk instead if the weather is nice or timing works better. Transportation is included.

Let’s visit a local supermarket where many Japanese people shop and pick out some souvenirs. I hope you’ll take a taste of Japan home to your own kitchen.
