In this intimate, small-group class, you will learn how to make beautiful seafood chirashi sushi and cook light, crispy kakiage. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together at the table.
You will also experience matcha with traditional Japanese sweets and learn about the spirit of Japanese tea culture.

We will meet in front of Kentucky Fried Chicken, a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Maruyama Koen Subway Station. From there, we will take you to the cooking studio. After the lesson, we will take you back to Maruyama Koen Subway Station.

10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. A short introduction to the class and Hokkaido’s food culture. 10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Hands-on cooking and tasting. 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Matcha experience with traditional Japanese sweets.
In this class, you will make seafood sushi rolls using fresh seafood and cook crispy tempura. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together. Then, you can experience matcha with traditional Japanese sweets.
