Built by the Normans in the 1200s, the Castle then became the centre of British power and control in Ireland for centuries. The Castle is an impressive mix of medieval, Georgian and other architectural styles and is a must-see on any visit to Dublin.

At this stop, we will savour the splendour of Dublin's most impressive Cathedral. Built 1,000 years ago, Christchurch Cathedral has a rich history, and on the tour you will learn about the fascinating tales of the Cathedral, including the disagreement between a King and the Pope which decided the fate of the Cathedral, and the restoration being funded by a famous Dublin whiskey baron.
