From Wadsworth, follow the signs to the nature center. Meet in the parking lot outside of the nature center (Patomos Ave, Zion, IL 60099) which is located the South Unit of Adeline Jay-Geo Karis Illinois Beach State Park. Please be cautious while driving since turtles cross the street on occasion.

Learn how Illinois' largest surviving natural dunes were formed and the efforts behind conserving them. Led by a former adjunct professor, you'll learn about the local wildlife and how to identify the rocks, minerals and fossils. (No collecting.)
