08:30 – Start your journey with a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi. Originally built in the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, this ancient pagoda is beautifully situated on a small island in West Lake. With its serene atmosphere, graceful architecture, and deep spiritual significance, Tran Quoc Pagoda remains a lasting symbol of Vietnam’s profound cultural and religious heritage.

09:15 – Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, featuring the Mausoleum, the Stilt House where President Ho Chi Minh lived from 1954 to 1969, and the One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi renowned for its unique architecture and spiritual significance.

11:00 – Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, featuring exhibitions and traditional houses representing Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Note: On Mondays, visit the Vietnam Women’s Museum instead. 12:30 – Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at our luxury restaurant, Mesdames Linh.

13:45 – Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius and scholars. This historic site symbolizes the nation’s long-standing tradition of learning and respect for knowledge.

15:00 – Visit Hoa Lo Prison, built by the French in the late 19th century to hold Vietnamese revolutionaries and later used during the Vietnam War for American POWs. Today, it stands as a poignant reminder of Vietnam’s turbulent history and enduring spirit.

16h00-16h30: Tour ends. Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
