The village of Kibune (now administratively attached to the city of Kyoto) welcomes us. Its traditional Japanese houses line the Kibune River.

We first go to Okumiya where Kuraokami and Takaokami, water deities, are revered. The Okumiya is considered the oldest and holiest site of the site.
