What sets your tour apart isn’t just where we go—it’s who leads the way. We are proud to be the only tour in Charleston led by a full-blooded Gullah Geechee Indian, Chief Godfrey Gullah Jack. This isn’t a scripted performance; it’s a "Truth Offensive." While other tours might offer a polished version of the past, we provide the raw, unfiltered, and deeply accurate history of the Gullah Geechee people and Charleston’s slave trade.
We dive into the untold stories of African American slaves, master craftsmen, and influential landowners, bringing to light the legacy that built this city. You’ll hear the Gullah language spoken by a native voice and experience the vibrant culture that has survive...

Step into the heart of Charleston’s true history with an experience as authentic as it is eye-opening. Led by Chief Godfrey, the city’s only full-blooded Gullah Geechee historian, you’ll embark on a journey that conventional tours simply won’t touch.
On this tour, you will walk through historic streets or ride in comfort to witness the actual sites of the Charleston slave trade. You’ll hear the untold stories of the African American slaves, master craftsmen, and landowners who shaped this city. We don't just talk about the past; we bring it to life through the Gullah language and the deep cultural traditions that have survived for centuries.
This is your chance to engage with a narrative of resilience and redemption. You will see the landmarks of Charleston through a lens of truth, gaining a profound understanding of Gullah Geechee heritage that few ever get to experience. If you’re looking for the real story of Charleston, this is where it begins. (Tour outside the museum only).

منزل ايكين-ريت
At this gorgeous single-family super mansion, the parties were to die for, literally. You will see slave dungeons, the doorway to the prized slave. Original Slave Auction Block where slaves were sold while they stood like a trophy with pig fat on their skin to shine them up like a golden award, the Oscars. You will see breathing holes so the slave would have barely any air to breathe. Whistle while you work the slave walk as they cook the food in the slave cabin, you will find the kitchen house. The slave must whistle so the Master knows where the slave is and that his food is safe from harm. You will see hanging trees for the wealthy lynching picnic parties to show off your wealth. Haint blue you will find on doors and ceilings to scare off the boo hags that ride you in your sleep at night, so that you cannot move or speak or cry for help. You will be breeding houses where the slaves were forced to reproduce. (Tour outside the museum only).
