Your adventure begins at a scenic frozen lake on Colorado’s Western Slope. After check-in, your guide will: • Review ice safety protocols • Explain how we assess safe ice thickness • Go over cold-weather comfort tips • Get you fitted with any provided gear
No experience? No problem. This trip is beginner-friendly and fully guided.
Once lines are in the water, you’ll learn: • Jigging techniques for trout and other cold-water species • How to read rod movement and tip-ups • Proper hook-setting and reeling methods • Bait selection and presentation
We keep it interactive—this is hands-on, not just watching. you may catch: • Rainbow trout • Brown trout • Cutthroat trout
