This Trilobite fossil site has some of the best Trilobite fossils in the world. Archeologists come from countries all over the world to collect these fossils for their countries museums. We also have a geologist that explains about the geology of the area and how these fossils came to be in this exact location.

The meeting location is in a Costco parking lot next to the Costco gas station. The drive from the meeting point to the fossil site is around 3 hours. It is mostly on paved roads except for the last 10 miles is on a well graded dirt road, the last couple hundred yards which needs higher clearance

We'll be digging for Trilobite fossils. These fossils are some of the oldest known fossils that go as far back as 500 million years ago. We can usually find them sitting on the surface but sometimes it requires a little digging.
