On the way to the temple, there will be short stop at the Charents Arch, where you will be given the chance to enjoy one of the best moments of your trip to Armenia – a picturesque view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

Garni Temple (77 A.D.) is the only standing heathen temple in the whole post-Soviet area. The temple gracefully stands on a high plateau overlooking the Azat river gorge. It is also home to the roman bath house with the mysterious mosaic, made out of 30,000 pieces of natural stones, as well as the ruins of the royal palace, dating back to 3rd century A.D.

The monastic complex of Geghard is another historical site included in this daily tour. Translated into English as “Monastery of the Holy Lance”, it refers to the lance with which Longinus pierced Jesus still hanging on the cross, later brought to Armenia and kept in the Geghard monastery for 5 centuries. The complex is a representation of 13 th Century Armenia, which is considered to be the Golden Age of the country’s architecture. However, the most astonishing part is the virtue of the architect, who cut the church right into the solid rock whilst considering all the rules of Armenian architecture.

The monastery of Haghartsin dates back to the 10th -14th centuries. The name is translated as “the play of the eagle”. The scenery is somewhat similar to a stunning work of art, with both the monastery and the nature surrounding it providing a breathtaking view. The refectory of Haghartsin is considered the biggest amongst Armenian Church architecture; it was an absolute innovation of its time! If you are curious as to why, there will be nothing better than seeing it for yourself!

ديليجان مدينة خلابة، تُعرف غالبًا باسم "سويسرا أرمينيا" نظرًا لجمالها الطبيعي الأخّاذ. أثناء تجولك في شارع شارامبيان، أقدم شوارعها، ستُفتن بمنازلها الخشبية التي يعود تاريخ العديد منها إلى القرن التاسع عشر.

ستأخذك الجولة بعد ذلك إلى شمال أرمينيا، حيث ستحيط بك الطبيعة الجميلة. عبر مدينة ديليجان، سنتوقف عند دير جوش جوشافانك. تقع هذه الكنيسة التاريخية في قلب الطبيعة والقرية الجميلة التي تحمل نفس الاسم. كان مخيتار جوش أحد القوى الفكرية العظيمة في عصره، "رجل متواضع حكيم"، ألف العديد من الأعمال، بما في ذلك أول قانون مدني وقانون كنسي تم استخدامه في كل من أرمينيا الكبرى وكيليكيا. دُفن بالقرب من الكنيسة التي بناها بنفسه في عام ١١٨٨. سترى هنا أيضًا خاشكار بافغوس (بوغوس) الذي يُعتبر أجمل خاشكار (صليب حجري) "مطرز" في أرمينيا.
