Turns out gnocchi is not as intimidating as it sounds. It is just potatoes, flour, egg and salt, a little kneading, some shaping, and suddenly you are the kind of person who makes pasta from scratch on a Tuesday. Chef Sam will get you there. In this laid-back, laugh-filled cooking class, you will make pillowy homemade gnocchi and toss it in a brown butter sage sauce with garlic, black pepper and Parmesan that will make you question every pasta dinner you have ever had before this moment. The setting is casual, the crowd is fun and the bar for prior cooking experience is refreshingly low. Come as you are. Leave as someone who makes their own gnocchi. That is a pretty good trade.
