Visitors can walk freely among the crosses, take photos, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this symbolic place of faith, hope, remembrance, and resilience.
Leaving a cross on the hill is optional. Travelers are welcome to bring one from their own country, make one themselves, or buy one on site. Although it is a famous pilgrimage site, the Hill of Crosses is not only for religious visitors — everyone is welcome to experience this unique and meaningful place.
