Jama Masjid One of India’s largest mosques, built by Shah Jahan in the 1650s. It features three grand marble domes, towering minarets, and a huge courtyard that can accommodate thousands. Visitors can climb one of the minaret towers for panoramic views of Old Delhi’s rooftops and narrow lanes.

The Red Fort (Lal Qila) was the main palace fortress of Mughal emperors, constructed in red sandstone. The Lahori Gate is its prominent western entrance, richly decorated and symbolic. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a key landmark of Shahjahanabad.

Raj Ghat is a serene memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Old Delhi, it marks the exact spot where Gandhi was cremated on 31 January 1948.

India Gate is an iconic war memorial located in the heart of New Delhi, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. It honors over 82,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. The 42-meter-high sandstone arch resembles the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and is engraved with the names of the fallen soldiers.

Rashtrapati Bhavan, also known as the President’s House of India, is the official residence of the President of India. Located at the western end of Rajpath, it is one of the largest presidential residences in the world, with 340 rooms spread across 330,000 square feet.
