07:15 AM – 07:30 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Our guide will meet you in the lobby, check your name, and transfer you to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village (about 1.5 hours).

Start your journey at Quang Phu Cau Incense Village, famous for its colorful incense sticks and traditional craftsmanship. If it rains and incense cannot be displayed outdoors, visit Bat Trang Pottery Village instead, where you can explore local ceramic workshops and try making your own pottery with a local artisan.

Before 11:30 AM: Arrive at Hanoi Train Street and get ready to take photos as the train passes through. This is one of the highlights of the tour. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nearby.

After lunch, continue to Hoa Lo Prison, a historic site built by the French in 1896 and later used to hold American pilots during the Vietnam War. Explore the museum’s exhibitions and learn about this important chapter in Hanoi’s history.

Then, visit the Temple of Literature, founded in 1070 and home to Vietnam’s first national university, established in 1076. Discover Vietnam’s traditional education and Confucian heritage while admiring the iconic Khue Van Pavilion and the historic Doctoral Stelae resting on stone turtles.

Next, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside and Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, marking the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Finally, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century and located on a small island in West Lake. Admire its ancient architecture and peaceful lakeside setting before ending the tour with a special cup of Hanoi egg coffee, a unique local specialty.
