Meet the humpback whales, the iconic giants of Polynesian waters. Every year, between August and November, they travel thousands of kilometres to give birth and raise their young in the warm waters of Tahiti, offering an absolutely fascinating natural spectacle.
Check-out at 7:30 or 12:30 am, embark on an excursion in search of these majestic mammals. Watch their powerful breaths on the surface, their huge fins splitting the ocean and, hopefully, their impressive jumps out of the water. Mothers accompanied by their calves often offer scenes of incredible tenderness.
