The largest artificial lake in Georgia, surrounded by mountains. Under the waters of this lake lies the flooded city of Zhinvali. The turquoise color of the water is due to the refraction of sunlight at great depths.

The medieval citadel includes several churches and towers on its defensive walls. You will walk around the fortress, visit the Church of the Assumption, and climb one of the towers for a panoramic view of the reservoir.

An unusual natural phenomenon is the confluence of the White and Black Aragvi rivers, which join but do not mix. You will hear a beautiful legend associated with this amazing place.

The arch was erected in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the Friendship between the Russian and Georgian peoples, and in honor of this, a poem in two languages is written on the arch: "A true friend will help a friend, and he will not be afraid of trouble. He will give his heart for another's heart. And love is a guiding star on the path."

The 14th-century Orthodox church is located at the foot of Kazbek, along the Georgian Military Highway, at an altitude of 2,170 meters above sea level. It offers a stunning view of the mountains.
