Huoi Leng, about 30 km from Dien Bien Phu, is a mountainous commune showcasing the rich culture of Vietnam’s Northwest. At 12:00, we enjoy lunch with a traditional Xa Phang family, who have called this remote area home for generations. Afterward, we continue northeast across the stony plateau toward Tua Chua.

Tua Chua, located in western Dien Bien Province, is a highland district known for its cool climate, dramatic landscapes, and rich ethnic diversity.
