Two-level structure: The cave consists of two overlapping cavities. The main entrance is about 24 meters high. The "Madonna": One of the most famous formations inside is a stalagmite which, seen from a certain angle, looks uncannily like the figure of the Virgin Mary in prayer.

A fleet of boat soldiers waited at the bottom to oar anyone who survived the fall.
