7:30 AM - 8:00 AM : Departure from the city of Quito by carpool. (Collected from more than 50 hotels in the tourist area of Quito).

This expedition begins with pick-up in Quito to head to Cotopaxi National Park, where we will explore the Interpretation Center and the Laguna de Limpiopungo while learning about Andean biodiversity. Afterwards, we will ascend by vehicle to the parking lot to start a hike of about an hour to the emblematic José Rivas Refuge (4,800 meters above sea level) and even, if the weather permits, reach the glaciers of the volcano. After the descent and a well-deserved lunch, we will continue our journey south to end the day with the transfer and arrival at your hotel in the city of Baños de Agua Santa

Visit and tour of the lagoon of Limpiopungo. Located to the north-west of the Cotopaxi volcano, at 3800 meters. (12.467).

Start of the walk to the José Rivas Refuge, the only refuge of the Cotopaxi, located at 4800 meters above sea level. (15,748 feet).

In favorable weather conditions, you can continue the hike to the glaciers of the volcano.

Lunch. From this hour, our private transport will be ready to start the tour to the city of Baños de Agua Santa.
