Come celebrate the Summer Solstice in Alaska with a paddle under the midnight sun. This special tour is offered for one week only during the Summer Solstice! This event tour takes place on the Kink River.
This glacier-formed valley is full of wildlife, such as moose, bears, eagles, and salmon just to name a few. Though we can not guarantee you will see wildlife on your tour, we can guarantee that you will get to experience being out in nature. This tour starts and ends at the Glenn Highway Knik River Bridge, by Reflection’s Lake. The Knik River is glacier-fed so no jumping in unless you want a very cold bath. Take the Reflections Lake Access Exit on the Glen Highway. Drive down the access road past the Refections Lake Trail Head and down to the Kink River Boat Lunch. We will meet you at the boat lunch and then run you upriver to the put-in on the Kink River and flout the river back to your vehicle.
