Explore two of Egypt's oldest pyramids in Dahshur. See the Bent Pyramid, famous for its unique change in angle partway up the structure, and the Red Pyramid, the first smooth-sided pyramid in history, built from striking red limestone. Visitors can enter the Red Pyramid through a narrow, steep passageway at no extra charge, and may also access the Bent Pyramid when open.

Visit Saqqara, home to the world's first monumental stone structure: the Step Pyramid of Djoser, built in the 27th century BCE and marking the beginning of pyramid architecture. Continue through the necropolis to see the Pyramid of Teti and the beautifully decorated Tomb of Mereruka, with walls covered in intricate carvings over 4,000 years old.
