Guests are welcomed with a brief introduction to wine tasting techniques before blindfolds are distributed.
The experience includes several wines served one at a time. Guests smell and taste each wine while blindfolded, describing aromas, flavours, acidity, and structure.
Throughout the tasting, your sommelier guide shares insights into how wine professionals identify grape varieties, regions, and quality.
At the end of the tasting, the wines are revealed and discussed together.

Step into a unique sensory wine experience where sight is removed and your senses take over.
During this intimate blindfold wine tasting, guests explore a selection of wines while blindfolded, focusing entirely on aroma, texture, and flavour. Guided by sommelier and wine educator John McTavish, you’ll learn how professional tasters evaluate wine and how removing visual cues can dramatically change the way you experience it.
Without seeing the bottle or colour of the wine, guests rely on smell and taste to describe what they perceive. Is it fruity or earthy? Light or powerful? Can you guess the grape variety or where the wine comes from?
