Tachog Lhakhang : Tachog Lhakhang (Temple of the Hill of the Excellent Horse) is a small 15th-century temple. It was built by the legendary Tibetan saint Thangtong Gyalpo, who also constructed the famous iron suspension bridge beside it. located on Thimphu-Paro Highway way.

Chuzomsa: The bridge spans the meeting point of two rivers: Wang Chhu (flowing from Thimphu) and Paro Chhu — at their confluence. From the bridge you can clearly see both rivers merging and flowing onward as a single waterway.

Buddha Dordenma: Buddha Dordenma is a giant golden statue of Lord Buddha located on a hill overlooking Thimphu. Standing over 51 meters tall, it houses more than 100,000 smaller Buddha statues inside. Built to spread peace and prosperity, it is one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks and offers stunning views of the Thimphu valley.

National Memorial Chorten: Built in 1974 in memory of Bhutan’s Third King, it is a peaceful Buddhist stupa where locals gather daily for prayers and spiritual practices. The white stupa, golden spire, and beautiful paintings reflect Bhutanese devotion and culture, making it a must-visit sacred site in the capital.
