Along the way, take in spectacular views of the town of Banff, the Bow Valley, and six surrounding mountain ranges. At the summit, soak up 360-degree panoramic vistas.
Explore the summit at your own pace with access to scenic walking paths, including the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk. This self-guided interpretive walkway leads to Sanson’s Peak and the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station, a designated National Historic Site.
When it’s time to relax, stop by Castle Mountain Coffee Co. for a drink or snack, or enjoy a full dining experience with reservations at Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen or Sky Bistro, offering elevated Canadian cuisine with unmatched views.
The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Roam Public Transit – Route 1. Ticketed shuttles run regularly with stops along Banff Avenue. Free shuttles are available May to October.
