Remainder of the morning free to relax and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace. 2:00 PM: Start of the Cusco City Tour, visiting the city's most important archaeological sites: Cusco Cathedral: Visit the city's main church, known for its impressive colonial architecture and more than 500 paintings. Koricancha: The Temple of the Sun, the main Inca temple, famous for its gold-clad walls. Sacsayhuamán: An Inca fortress located on the outskirts of Cusco, built on three enormous stone platforms. Qenqo: An archaeological site where you can see canals, passageways, and a large rock in the shape of a puma, used for rituals. Pucapucara: An ancient Inca military and administrative fortress, with passageways, stairways, and towers. Tambomachay: Known as the Inca Baths, this ceremonial site is dedicated to the worship of water. Return to the hotel at the end of the tour.
