The great Wildebeest migration involves the migration of thousands of wildebeests, Zebras, Thomson’s Gazelle from Serengeti National Park to Kenya through the Mara river in search of fresh grazing.
This awe-inspiring event is one of the last mass terrestrial animal movements left on the planet – the herds are so big they can be observed from space!
June to October is an excellent time to see the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti at its best. December to March is a beautiful time to see the wildebeest calving.
