This is a safari geared towards wildlife enthusiasts. If you are looking to see loads of game, this is the tour for you! You'll leave Nairobi early and drive out to Aberdare National Park, getting there around lunchtime. After eating and having high tea, you'll head to The Ark tree lodge which sits on the forest slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. From there you can watch wildlife from several different vantage points throughout the lodge. Keep an eye out for rare animals like giant forest hogs, bongos, and spotted genets that show up on the different lodge levels.
