It is said that in the year 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru came to visit the King and cured people who were contracted with smallpox and cholera epidemics by distributing their water from the tank. That water tank, used by the Guru, still exists today inside the gurudwara and is believed to possess medicinal properties.

Agrasen ki Baoli (Step Wells), designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958, is a 60-meter long and 15-meter-wide historical step well.
