On this day we will drive north toward Lake Natron, passing through stunning landscapes at the base of Mount Gelai and the Rift Valley escarpment. Along the way, enjoy views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God,” an active volcano sacred to the Maasai people. Upon arrival at Lake Natron, you’ll check into your lodge/camp and have time to relax. In the afternoon, take a guided walk to the lake shores, famous for its striking red‑tinged waters and large flocks of flamingos. As the sun sets, the scenery becomes even more dramatic, offering perfect photo opportunities.
