Depart Nairobi early in the morning for the Masai Mara, a drive of about 5–6 hours through the
scenic Great Rift Valley. Stop briefly at a viewpoint to admire the sweeping landscapes before
continuing to the reserve. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, then relax before
heading out on your first afternoon game drive.
