DAY 1 – Spicers Gap → Condamine Crossings → Sundown NP
We kick things off at 8:00 AM, heading straight toward Spicers Gap to get comfortable on the bikes and take in the incredible views overlooking Lake Moogerah.
From there, we drop into the iconic Condamine River Road, tackling the famous 13 river crossings — trying to stay dry… but it doesn’t always go to plan.
Once through, we cruise some easier flowing sections into Stanthorpe for a well-earned pub stop. Expect a solid feed (the parmi here is a standout).
With full stomachs, we head toward Sundown National Park, where the riding steps up a notch. Think rocky terrain, technical sections, and proper adventure riding.
We’ll stop in at Red Rock Gorge before making our way to camp, aiming to roll in around 4:00 PM. This gives us time to set up, relax, and enjoy the remote High Country atmosphere before dark.
