You will visit the Archaeological Site of Delphi, one of the most important and fascinating historical sites in Greece. Known as the center of the ancient world, Delphi was home to the famous Oracle of Apollo, where people from all over the ancient world came to seek guidance from the god. During our visit, you will explore the Temple of Apollo, as well as the Ancient Theater, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. You will also see the Stadium of Delphi, where the ancient Pythian Games were held and the Tholos of Athena Pronaia, one of the most iconic monuments of the site. Next, you will go to the Delphi Archaeological Museum, which houses a rich collection of artifacts discovered in the area. Some of the highlights include the famous Charioteer of Delphi, an exceptional bronze statue, the Sphinx of Naxos, and the twin statues of Kleobis and Biton. This popular destination is well known for its ski resort, making it a favorite winter getaway. However, it is also a great place to visit year-round, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes. While in Arachova, we will have the chance to stroll through the town, explore local shops selling handmade carpets, textiles, and traditional products. Arachova is also known for its delicious local cheese, Formaela, which is a must-try for food lovers.
